Our Story

JMLogMarket was founded in Greenup, Kentucky with a simple goal: make it easier for loggers to sell their timber and for mills to find the logs they need. We saw how much time people spent making phone calls, driving to yards, and trying to find buyers. There had to be a better way.

We built JMLogMarket to bring the timber industry online without losing the personal touch. When you post a listing, buyers call you directly. There's no middleman taking a cut. We just connect people who have logs with people who need them.

Based right here in Eastern Kentucky along the Ohio River, we understand the timber business. We know the difference between a Doyle board foot and a Scribner one. We know why White Oak commands a premium and what mills look for in a load. That local knowledge shapes everything we build.
